If there is anything better in the fall than apple cider, it’s apple cider with bourbon in it. That’s what I mixed up last night courtesy of a recipe I found at Creative Culinary. This cocktail also includes a shot of ginger ale, which keeps the concoction from being too sweet. And making it couldn’t be much simpler. Just remember that you need to refrigerate the bourbon and cider for at least an hour before mixing.
BOURBON AND APPLE CIDER COCKTAIL
2 parts Apple Cider, refrigerated
2 parts Ginger Ale, refrigerated
1 part Bourbon (I used Maker’s 46)
- Mix together cider and bourbon and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Before serving, add ginger ale to bourbon and cider and serve over crushed ice.
- Garnish with apple slice.
