For the sixth consecutive year, Kentucky Gov. Steven Beshear and the state legislature have declared that September will be honored as “Bourbon Heritage Month” in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and above is the proof. If you’ve never visited Kentucky, which produces 95 percent of the world’s supply of that amber nectar, September is a perfect time to rectify the error of your ways. Cheers! (Thanks to the Kentucky Distillers’ Association for the image of the proclamation.)
