When the Bourbon Women Association formed just about a year ago, the response was immediate and enthusiastic. Women were apparently more than ready for an opportunity to network and socialize with other bourbon-loving women, and learn a little more about their favorite spirit in the process. Membership now stands at more than 250, with members representing 18 states, and BW events have drawn capacity crowds.
But so far, all the events have been held in Kentucky. Now, in response to requests from members in some of those 17 other states, the Bourbon Women Association is branching out with a “Take Flight” series of bourbon-tasting and recruiting events across the country.
The series kicks off from 6-9 p.m. next Thursday, March 29, in Lexington at the Be Medispa and continues throughout the spring in cities including Dallas, Boston, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
