Tuesday’s Shot of Bourbon Trivia

The color of a bourbon can tell you two things about it: its age and its strength. While there are some exceptions, a lighter-colored bourbon will as a general rule be younger and lower-proof than a darker one. Note: This guideline won’t work with other types of whiskeys, whose makers are free to add color to their products. By law, nothing can be added to bourbon but water.
