Over the weekend, my husband and I hosted a pre-Election Day gathering celebrating the only party we knew everyone could support: The Cocktail Party. The names of the cocktails we served — The Bad Hombre, The Private Server — reflected this crazy election season. I’m not saying this portends anything, but the overwhelming favorite was The Nasty Woman, a bourbon cocktail made with ginger liqueur.
