They work the line

As you may know (and if you don’t, you should), it was Maker’s Mark matriarch Marge Samuels who came up with the idea to seal each bottle with red wax, thereby giving the brand the distinctive packaging that’s immediately recognized the world over.

Each bottle of Maker’s is still hand-dipped into hot wax. Each worker on the line dips an average of 23 to 27 bottles per minute; after 30 minutes, workers rotate to another task to avoid repetitive-stress injury. Could you keep up?
